The Quartz Acorn Vineyard sits closer to the coastal range and lends itself to a cooler profile with longer hang time resulting in a “chiseled” wine, showing the precise fruit. Aromatics of lemon, pear, and distinct ginger and dandelion spice. The palate has a bright lemon profile and a dry and minerally finish. It was harvested from one specific southeast facing section of Chardonnay at the Quartz Acorn Vineyard that particularly excelled in 2019 providing a very detailed wine. This wine should age gracefully for ten or more years.
