Production Notes
The 2021 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is the only Pinot Noir we produce that combines our two estate plantings. It is sourced from our Quartz Acorn Vineyard in Yamhill-Carlton and our Iron Filbert Vineyard in Dundee Hills. While this label is traditionally press fraction dominant, the 2021 vintage contains more free run than any year prior. 55% free run, 45% press fraction. We aged on lees for 11 months in 20% new oak barrels from Taransaud (French) and Kádár (Hungarian). 14.8% ABV. 1950 cases produced.
