2022 Dundee Hills Rosé
We welcome our first Rosé made from our Dundee Hills Estate, the Iron Filbert Vineyard. This wine is fresh and youthful. The nose shows bright apricot, mandarin orange peel, and yellow peach. The palate is crisp and acid driven. A wonderful sanguine quality lingers on the mouth, showing true to the terroir of our Iron Filbert Vineyard’s jory soils. It is everything we want from a Rosé and begs for beautiful days ahead to enjoy.

Production Notes
Our first Rosé produced from our Dundee Hills Iron Filbert Vineyard. The fruit was sourced from Block 2 of the estate, mid-elevation and south sloping. Dijon 115 and 667, Pommard 4. We sorted the fruit early in the morning and foot treaded 50% (whole cluster). 24 hours on skins before pressing. The juice was racked into stainless tank directly after pressing for fermentation. Full primary fermentation in stainless tank and moved to neutral French Oak barrels for secondary fermentation and aging. Partial malolactic fermentation. 230 cases produced. 13.5% ABV.
